Hewitt Lake Lodge - In the Heart of Alaska The Lodge is located on Hewitt Lake approximately 100 air miles northwest of Anchorage. It is accessible by a one hour floatplane ride or for the more adventurous, a 3-4 hour jet boat ride. We have a main building which includes the kitchen, and recreation room. Our cozy private guest cabins all have running hot and cold water and showers. And we have a new sauna house for relaxation after a hard days work of fishing. The Yentna River and its various clear water streams are readily accessible by boat. We take you to all the hottest fishing spots in the area. A delicious deli meal prepared and packed for your daily fishing trips. The beauty and remoteness of this region makes your vacation a breathtaking and unforgetable adventure.
